Double braided Dacron rope has the qualities of high strength, limited stretch under load, UV and abrasion resistance, and low coefficient of friction as opposed to other rope types such as nylon, polypropylene, hemp or cotton, all of which do not have these qualities. Please NOTE: Our dacron rope is DOUBLE braided vs. many competitors who sell a single braid version. Our double braid adds to the strength of the rope as well as providing a top level quality of Ultra Violet resistance.

USES: Where limited stretch for hauling, affixing rope supports, or end supports for banners, signs, wire antennas. Shade Sail support. Archers' Bow String. Djembe drums. Supports for vertical structures such as masts, scaffolding, tree limb control. Excellent thru pulley applications. Marine such as docking lines, halyards, anchor lines (some marine applications need Nylon rope, where some stretching ability is needed. We have Nylon. Please see the Marine section).
